Good day. We are The Tempers, a three piece family band from Seattle, Washington. We sound like the dance party you've been trying to have but couldn't because you didn't know we existed. We are what rock and roll will be next; we are what disco should have been; we are a three headed monster eating pop music alive.
Born and raised in Seattle, Washington we are a three piece family band consisting of Corina Bakker on vocals, Chalia Bakker on drums, and James Bakker on keys and madness. We have been consistently playing shows in the area for a couple of years and put a lot of emphasis on our live performance. A truly spectacular live show is more than the music; it's the theatrics, the costumes, and the stage setup as well. We want the audience to get excited and be involved. As passionate as we are about our live show we are equally so about recording. Earlier this year we released “Galactic Love” (an EP cassette tape) and on October 31, 2010 we released our first full-length album “Vol. 1.” Both were recorded and produced by the band. We believe that by recording and producing everything ourselves we are able to experiment and develop our sound. The result is a product that is an honest representation of ourselves and our vision.
Music is soul and is therefore life. Ancient and powerful, it allows us to express something vast and unspoken. It is emotion and celebration and most importantly it is REVOLUTION. So call your friends, put on your dancing shoes, and come on out to the next Tempers show for a hell of a good time.
